you look at my old blog entrys you’ll see that my parents got my a draper mini lathe for christmas i had seen some reviews of it and theyre were pretty bad but i was still excited. Well on christmas morning i went straight to the shed to use it, i set it up exactly the way it was meant to be but staright away the tool rest just broke, it turned out it wasnt even made from steel so we got a replacement but when i started turning the motor wasn’t powerful enough to turn the wood so we decided to bring it back and get a refund, well thanks be to god we went back to McQuillans and they gave us a full refund and it turns out the Record Power DML36SH-CAM Swivelhead Lathe was on lathe so we payed an extra 50euro and i have to say its amazing, it has a swivelhead so i can turn any size bowl really and it has a 32’ capacity, it is class :) i cant wait to post some of my turnings ;)
